Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Field Service Manager in the Kennesaw, GA area to coordinate field service activities, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, and deploy technicians to ensure high site performance and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with SAP and planning tools.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree, 3+ years in field service or commissioning, and proven ability to manage teams while delivering results

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or control technology or equivalent.
3+ years of relevant experience as a mechanical fitter, service technician or commissioning engineer or similar position
Minimum two (2) years of experience leading, coordinating, or managing teams and resources.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong Computer skills especially need to have Advanced Proficiency with MS office Excel and Access and knowledge of various SAP software

Responsibilities

Coordinate field service activities and maintenance planning to support site performance.
Supervise and guide your team to meet tight deadlines for repairs.
Maintain high customer satisfaction while balancing commercial needs.
Collaborate with Planner/Scheduler to optimize technician schedules.
Record and report maintenance data in SAP, ASTA, and planning tools.
Create and manage work orders and asset records in SAP and ASTA.
