Clean Harbors in North Amityville, NY is seeking a Field Service Supervisor to plan, lead, organize and coordinate the daily operations of the service line crew. This role ensures proper operation of equipment, drives efficiencies at the site, and guarantees timely documentation.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, equipment readiness checks, and guiding crew performance while meeting client requirements. The position requires on-call emergency response and potential overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental field service operations or related industries.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 2-4 nights per month.
• On-call for emergency response situations.
• Experience pulling a trailer via pickup truck preferred.
• Ability to manage, reconcile, and review all job-related documentation.
• Able to work in confined spaces and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Verify equipment availability and operability before starting jobs.
• Inspect equipment and work area prior to jobs.
• Address deficiencies that could cause accidents or downtime.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Complete service receipts and submit to management.
• Train Technicians I/II in equipment operation and processes.
• Operate equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce HPC safety policies.
• Meet deadlines while efficiently using resources.
• Direct crew performance and ensure client requirements and company policies are followed.
• Safe operation of vehicles per DOT and local regulations.
• May be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
