Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Field Service Supervisor in our Field Service department to lead first-line management, balancing field coordination with employee management.

The role centers on supervising electrical testing teams, ensuring safety, managing project schedules and P&L, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Travel to field sites and vendors will be required.

A technical background in electrical engineering or related field, plus 6+ years of supervisory experience, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, equivalent engineering science or 6+ years of field service management experience.
• 4-6 years related experience with data centers, industrial services, and primary power distribution.
• 6+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience (RFPs, bidding, change orders, QC, RFI/submittal tracking) for construction/projects.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Valid Driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams of electrical testing technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Construction document management including submittal review, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Oversee the documentation of test procedures, review results, and generate test reports for customers.
• Assists in job execution and purchasing of job materials.
• Coordinate field service employees daily schedules.
• Serve as contact for customers regarding job related questions and concerns.
• Conducts walkthroughs of job sites to discuss scope of work and revisions.
• Conduct regular safety meetings.
• Responsible for profit/loss on projects.
• Responsible for maintaining and executing project schedules.
