Qualus Corporation in the United States seeks a Lead Field Service Technician to test, maintain, and repair high and medium voltage electrical equipment, leading shop and field operations for reliable electrical systems.

The role requires 5–7 years in power systems, NETA preferred, and strong communication. Expect field work, driving, and collaboration across teams, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years’ related experience in power plants, industrial services, primary power distribution and related protection and control schemes.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems experience.
• Licensures/certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English due to safety-related materials and client interactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and field testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on low and medium voltage breakers (Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, Timing tests).
• Complete mechanical work and repairs on breakers (tear down, refurbishment, parts replacement).
• Utilize and read meters; read schematics and wiring drawings.
• Troubleshoot circuit controls; read and plot time-current curves.
• Read electrical drawings and symbols; test power and current transformers; document in Power DB.
