Job description

Join our team as a Field Service Supervisor at KOCH Finishing Systems. This role involves overseeing the installation, start-up, and commissioning of automated paint finishing systems, with opportunities for extensive travel and hands-on project management.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee installation, start-up, and commissioning of systems at customer sites.
2. Lead technicians to ensure safety, efficiency, and project completion within budget.
3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients on schedules and deliverables.
4. Provide on-site training and technical support during system integration.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of activities.
7. Follow safety protocols and industry regulations.
8. Collaborate to improve product and support processes.
9. Travel extensively to customer locations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field (preferred).
2. At least 5 years of experience in field service, installation, or maintenance of industrial equipment, especially automated systems.
3. Leadership skills to motivate and mentor technicians.
4. Strong problem-solving and technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Willingness to travel and work on-site for extended periods.
7. Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
8. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in demanding environments.
9. Knowledge of PLC programming, robotics, and automation is a plus.
