Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring a Field Service Supervisor in Manassas, Virginia. The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for leading the service department, ensuring operational success and high customer satisfaction. This role involves organizing, communicating, delegating responsibilities, setting priorities, coaching staff, and providing technical expertise. Candidates should have experience in service operations and a solid understanding of heavy equipment repair procedures. A college/technical degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
Requirements for the Field Service Supervisor include:
Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift and carry items up to 70 pounds, and possess specific vision capabilities such as close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
