Medical Imaging Field Service Specialist

The Medical Imaging Field Service Specialist is responsible for the installation and ongoing support of products sold to customers, including hospitals and healthcare providers. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to respond quickly to client issues. Specific duties include:

• Ensuring product performance metrics are met.
• Maintaining positive and professional client relationships.
• Providing technical support during assigned hours.
• Delivering technical service, support, and communication to dealers and end-users.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responding to customer inquiries with technical product information and support, and resolving issues promptly.
• Making site visits for installations, preventive maintenance, or emergency service calls.
• Following up with customers after repairs.
• Documenting all service-related issues accurately from initial problem to resolution.
• Communicating technical information related to products, installation, and parts.
• Having in-depth knowledge of products to troubleshoot issues remotely.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and management to address technical issues and suggest solutions.
• Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Proven experience with computers.
• Strong analytical and data-driven skills.
• Ability to quickly understand medical technology and healthcare environments.
• Computer skills including Mail Server, File Server, NetSuite, Outlook.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
