This position can be filled remotely.

Summary:

The incumbent acts as the sole Voith representative in front of customers, emphasizing customer satisfaction, quality service, and safety. Building long-term, trustful relationships with customers by providing technical solutions to meet their business needs is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, reassemble, overhaul, and maintain Voith Hydrodynamic and Geared Industrial products in the Power Oil & Gas sector.
2. Ensure safety standards are met during all tasks.
3. Provide commissioning, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting services.
4. Support customers via in-person, phone, and email communication.
5. Collaborate with product team to meet service objectives.
6. Document service analyses and reports on maintenance and failures.
7. Support the direct sales force with service expertise.
8. Complete special projects as assigned.
9. Travel internationally outside North America as needed.
10. Promote after-sales services like upgrades and maintenance programs.

Requirements:

1. 5-7 years of experience with field work and rotating machinery in the Power Oil & Gas sector.
2. Mechanical Technicians with relevant experience are considered; a Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred but not required.
3. Experience in mechanical power transmission is an asset.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
5. Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
6. Willingness to travel up to 70% domestically across the US.
7. Decisive and confident decision-making skills.
8. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
9. Proficiency in MS Office.
