Job summary

Artidis seeks a Field Service Software Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software components in Artidis systems in the field. You will diagnose issues, perform remote and on-site troubleshooting, and ensure reliable system performance.

You will collaborate with headquarters and international sites to align troubleshooting practices, document issues, and provide technical feedback for software improvement while maintaining service records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field (CS/Software/BIomedical).
• Experience with software troubleshooting, debugging and RCA in technical systems.
• Ability to read and understand Qt/C++ and QML code, perform basic modifications or diagnostics.
• Familiarity with software documentation, requirements and troubleshooting procedures.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of medical device quality and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently in field service.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service support for software and hardware issues on Artidis systems.
• Diagnose, reproduce, and analyze software issues from the field; identify root causes and support corrective actions.
• Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting during installation, maintenance, and service activities.
• Develop and maintain service-related software tools, scripts, or minor patches.
• Coordinate with European HQ and sites to align on service activities, software releases and troubleshooting practices.
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation activities ensuring proper software configuration.
