Job summary

Artidis Ag is seeking a Field Service Engineer to ensure smooth operation of our medical devices across hospital sites. You will install, commission, and maintain devices, troubleshoot issues, and provide direct technical support to healthcare professionals.

Collaboration with internal teams will help translate customer feedback into product improvements. Ideal candidates have a biomedical/engineering background, 3+ years in medical devices, and strong regulatory knowledge (ISO 13485, FDA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• +3 years in medical device fields and customer services
• Strong troubleshooting and repair capabilities
• Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines and related regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Install and commission devices ensuring proper functionality and regulatory compliance
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and rectify device issues and malfunctions
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals and customers
• Relay customer feedback to internal teams for product improvement
• Support device development teams by integrating user feedback
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and quality systems
• Interact with customers to address inquiries and build relationships
• Move between hospitals and customer sites as needed
