Job summary

LGC, a global life science tools company, seeks a Field Service Engineer II to support laboratory instrumentation and consumables across customer sites. The role emphasizes delivery of installations, training, maintenance, repairs, and production optimization to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote support, 24/7 on-call coverage, collaboration with the Field Service Manager, and travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in a mechanical, industrial, or electrical field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years' Field Service experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Criminal record-free due to travel visa qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver installation, training, maintenance, repairs and production optimization for customers.
• Provide on-site and remote service support, with 24/7 on-call availability and up to 75% travel.
• Lead or support problem resolution with Field Service Advisor team and other engineers.
• Perform on-site operator/technical training and support new processes in the field.
• Communicate instrument status and customer needs to management and teams.
• Contribute to KPI targets for service revenues, quality, and turnaround times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
