Field Service Site Lead – Energy Storage Systems

Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises is seeking a Field Service Site Supervisor to lead the commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of energy storage systems in the field. This role involves onsite leadership and sometimes international travel, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will mentor field staff, collaborate with engineering and service partners, and ensure documentation and reporting are up to standard while maintaining NEC compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in energy storage service and operations.
• Certifications in Forklift/Boomlift/Scissor lift (can be acquired through Eos)
• Certification in Construction Safety (OSHA-10) (can be acquired through Eos)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of field technicians/engineers to commission large Eos energy systems.
• Organize and oversee the day-to-day workflow operations.
• Support material management activities for all site activities.
• Read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Ensure Preventative Maintenance is completed on Eos energy systems, independently or leading teams.
• On-site Point of Contact for customers, service partners, etc.
• Field escalation path for solving complex problems.
• When required, independently commission and operate Eos energy systems, locally or remote.
• Mentor field service engineers and technicians in operating and commissioning Eos systems.
• Assist in creating or revising system, customer-facing, and internal commissioning documentation.
• Support Product Engineering for testing of the complete system, including BMS interface.
• Evaluate battery performance, including testing of Eos energy systems.
• Utilize Field Service and Work Order Management tools to update information.
• Write reports, record customers’ concerns, and interact with customers.
• Develop knowledge of Eos products and third-party products.
• Maintain knowledge of the NEC
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Site Supervisor may have extended hours for planning and coordination.
