Schneider’s Power Services Field Service Representatives play an impactful role within the organization. They collaborate with customers, sales representatives, team members, and third-party partners to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in various environments. We provide all Field Service Representatives with comprehensive product training, along with training on digital and physical tools. Schneider Electric supplies service vehicles, tools, uniforms, mobile devices, and laptops for daily use.

This is a home-based position with a flexible work schedule, guaranteed 40 hours per week (+Overtime).

This role is part of our U.S. Services business, specifically within the Power Services team, focusing on electrical distribution equipment inside critical facilities.

Typical daily responsibilities include:
  • Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment.
  • Performing warranty work and start-up services.
  • Conducting startup/commissioning across various Schneider Electric products.
  • Testing, calibration, and component replacement services on customer products.
  • Constructing and testing circuits and equipment using various tools and diagrams.
  • Providing technical support, product training, and conducting on-site audits.

Supporting serviceable Schneider equipment such as electrical switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, BMS systems, PLCs, HMIs, drives, power monitoring equipment, and protective relays.

  • Documenting all required site information in technical reports.
Additional tasks may include:
  • Analyzing complex equipment problems and interpreting maintenance manuals.
  • Assisting in design modifications and supporting their installation.
  • Developing training materials and delivering training sessions.
  • Traveling for training and support at various sites.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
  • Vocational education, military training, or relevant experience in electronics or electrical disciplines.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or power distribution services.
  • Proficiency in electronic/electrical component theory and report writing.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
  • Physical ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
