Schneider’s Power Services Field Service Representatives play an impactful role within the organization. They collaborate with customers, sales representatives, team members, and third-party partners to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in various environments. We provide all Field Service Representatives with comprehensive product training, along with training on digital and physical tools. Schneider Electric supplies service vehicles, tools, uniforms, mobile devices, and laptops for daily use.

This role offers a home-based, flexible schedule with a 40-hour guarantee plus overtime.

This position is within our U.S. Services business, specifically our Power Services team, OEM for SquareD, focusing on electrical distribution equipment inside critical facilities.

Typical daily responsibilities include:

1. Servicing, installing, and repairing customer equipment.
2. Performing warranty work and start-up services.
3. Conducting startup/commissioning across our product portfolio.
4. Testing, calibrating, adjusting, and replacing components on customer products.
5. Constructing and testing circuits and equipment using various tools and diagrams.
6. Providing technical support and product training, including on-site audits.

Support includes equipment such as electrical switchgear, PDUs, RPPs, BMS systems, PLCs, HMIs, drives, power monitoring, and protective relays.

On some days, you may:

• Analyze complex equipment problems and interpret maintenance manuals.
• Assist in designing modifications and support their installation.
• Develop and deliver training courses for customers and colleagues.
• Travel for training and support at various sites.

Ideal candidates have:

• Vocational, military, or related experience in electronics or electrical disciplines.
• 3-5+ years of relevant mechanical, electrical, or power distribution experience.
• Experience in report writing and presenting information.
• Ability to perform calculations and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience with low or medium voltage switchgear, transformers, relay protection, or control systems.
• Physical ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
