Valmet is seeking a Field Services Engineer to support large-scale papermaking equipment across North America from customer sites. You will lead on-site repair or preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or controls issues, generating detailed field reports with recommendations to improve processes.
The role requires a 2-4 year degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of technical experience in papermaking or related industries; PLC
As a Field Services Engineer on the Component Team, you will apply your skills and experiences to support the performance of the large-scale papermaking equipment at our customers facilities across North America. The individual must have either a strong mechanical background or knowledge of controls and automation systems. Lead and perform on-site repair or preventive maintenance services at customer's site and in accordance with contract requirements. Troubleshoot either mechanical or programmable related issues. Generate customer-focused, high quality, and timely field reports with strong recommendations for improvements of customers' processes or systems.
