Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Field Services Engineer to support large-scale papermaking equipment across North America from customer sites. You will lead on-site repair or preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or controls issues, generating detailed field reports with recommendations to improve processes.

The role requires a 2-4 year degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of technical experience in papermaking or related industries; PLC

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in a technical role in papermaking or related industry.
• Experience with PLC programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site repair or preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or programmable controls issues.
• Generate customer-focused field reports with recommendations for improvements.
