Job summary

Rivian Automotive in Minnesota seeks a Service Operations Manager to oversee local service operations with a customer-first mindset. You will lead a team of technicians, advisors, and parts staff, drive process improvements, and manage budgets while maintaining Rivian’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to scale operations in a complex organization.
• Experience leading remote service teams and driving performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a focus on operational excellence.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in start-up environments and fast-paced teams.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L, WIP, and customer experience metrics (NPS).
• Lead local operations with servant leadership and hands-on approach.
• Ensure programs and processes meet Rivian objectives and compliance.
• Manage high-value inventory reconciliation.
• Collaborate across Service Operations, Sales, Retail, and Delivery teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve field service operations.
• Plan and coordinate logistics and meetings with internal and external partners.
• Build and retain a customer-centric team of technicians and advisors.
• Lead hiring, performance management, and employee development.
• Foster an inclusive Rivian culture with high morale.
• Establish safe service practices and be an advocate for safety and organization.
• Track and report KPIs at Service Centers and drive improvements.
