Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking an Assistant to Field Service Manager to support the FSM and Field Service Leaders in delivering premier service to clients. This role handles administrative tasks so technicians can focus on field activities and will work closely with the FSM to grow operations knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will have strong office skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent written and verbal communication, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous service industry experience (Power Generation, HVAC, etc.) preferred.
• Capability of managing customers with tact, patience, and grace.
• Fluency with Microsoft Office product suite.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily time approvals for Service Technicians and coordinate with FSM for coaching.
• Review weekly expense reports with FSM to ensure coaching where needed.
• Assist FSM in reviewing productivity and profitability of work orders and compliance with standards.
• Assist FSM in building and maintaining the OnCall program.
• Develop knowledge of company services, solutions, and programs.
• Coordinate with team members to resolve problems and enhance customer service; periodic travel to meet customers; provide after-hour support as required.
