Job summary

Paper Converting Machine Company is seeking a Field Service Technician – Mechanical to install, troubleshoot and demonstrate envelope converting machinery at customer sites. You will train customers on operation and maintenance while working with engineers to ensure proper installation and startup of equipment.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, travel readiness, and the ability to work in a team with field staff and customers. Safety and quality are emphasized throughout the job.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Technology or related field is required.
• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Travel at least 50% of the time is expected.

Responsibilities

• Install and test envelope converting equipment per drawings and manuals.
• Instruct customer operators on setup and operation.
• Perform routine and emergency mechanical service and diagnose root causes.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
• Maintain safety and quality in all tasks.

Education
