Job summary

Barry-Wehmillier is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician/Engineer to install, service and adjust envelope converting equipment at customer sites in the United States. You will work from drawings and manuals, test machines, train customers, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues.

Candidates should have an associate degree in Mechanical Technology or related field, with preferred BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, and be willing to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Technology or related field required.
• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old at hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, start-up and demonstrate envelope converting equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine root causes.
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with installation teams.
