Herc Rentals is seeking a Field Service Mechanic B to perform preventative maintenance and on-site diagnostics for a wide range of equipment. You will work from a service truck, performing oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections while ensuring equipment is ready for rental use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with field service or equipment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Herc-owned fleet at active job sites.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems onsite.
• Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, and proper operation; replace parts as needed.
• Document service reports and maintain safety compliance.
