Job summary

SteelcoBelimed, a leader in sterilization solutions, seeks a Field Service Manager for the US Southwest region. You will oversee the designated service region including workforce selection, performance management, and customer relations, with travel across Texas and neighboring states.

You will build and lead a field service team of at least 10 technicians, drive profitability, and partner with Sales to seize new service opportunities while maintaining service excellence and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on experience managing a field team of at least 10 mechanical technicians.
• Ability to creatively solve business problems through gathering and analyzing data.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards in a service environment.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel (20% overnight).
• Able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the overall performance of the service zone, including revenue, expense management, and penetration into the install base.
• Ensure the achievement of all key and operational measures, especially in the areas of safety, development, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, revenue generation, and profitability.
• Develop and manage growth and profitability of the field service business by tracking financial performance to ensure profitability.
• Partner with the Sales team to assist in securing capital equipment sales, new service opportunities, and to retain current business; presents the service offering to customers as required.
• Lead the hiring, training, and development of the field service team.
• Drive performance management, including performance reviews, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reports.
• Develop and implement profitable service programs resulting in sales lead generation and excellent customer service.
• Promote seamless collaboration between Sales and Service teams to drive profitability and efficiency.
