Job summary

SteelcoBelimed Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to travel to hospital sites for installation, service and maintenance of our sterilization equipment. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills, with training in Charleston, SC and regional travel from Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical wiring and controls
• Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls
• Experience using diagnostic test equipment, VOMs, probes and calibration gear
• Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics
• Willingness to travel extensively with short notice

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments
• Measure and adjust instrumentation with calibration equipment
• Install, modify and repair SteelcoBelimed and/or 3rd party equipment
• Manage customer base; balance PM workload with repairs
• Demonstrate correct usage of equipment to customers
• Conduct product in-service trainings as required
• Complete service reports, timesheets, expense reports and parts lists on time
• Maintain an organized work vehicle with tools and parts
• Monitor customer chemical orders, contracts and renewals
• Promote professional customer relations
