Job summary

Epiroc USA LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Service Manager to lead all PSD service activities across field and service centers. You will drive profitability, ensure safety, and coordinate aftersales solutions for our mining equipment.

The role requires strong leadership, technical know-how, and exceptional communication with customers and teams, plus travel. A BS degree and 5+ years in mining or construction equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred, or 5+ years of relevant mining or construction equipment experience.
• Proven experience leading teams of employees.
• Strong communication skills for groups of managers, clients and customers.
• Robust mechanical/technical background for root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, electrical diagrams and procedural manuals.
• Advanced training in CMMS, reporting, databases and spreadsheets preferred.
• Valid/active driver’s license.
• Current safety training per US DoL Mine Safety & Health Administration requirements.
• DOT compliance for service vehicles and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote service business to generate profitable revenue and expand offerings.
• Lead and manage competency center employees including hiring, training and evaluating performance.
• Implement and organize service procedures for warranty handling, failure analysis and safety compliance.
• Supervise and support technicians in the field and at service centers.
• Coordinate aftermarket personnel and direct activities to achieve service center goals.
• Ensure competency development for technicians and subcontractors in product, technical and administrative areas.
• Maintain service resources and facilities following policies and safety standards.
• Uphold courteous and professional communication with customers and staff.
• Travel is required in this position.
