Job summary

Western States Equipment is seeking an on-site maintenance and field service leader for mining operations. You will coordinate maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mining equipment, ensuring safety policies are implemented and followed on site.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy equipment service and strong knowledge of Caterpillar mining equipment, with MSHA certification or the ability to obtain it. You will collaborate with mining teams to optimize availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in heavy equipment service, mining equipment maintenance, or field operations.
• MSHA certification required or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar mining equipment and dealer product support operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site contact between Western States Equipment and mine operations.
• Lead daily coordination of maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and product support activities for mining equipment.
• Support safety for all on-site personnel by partnering with site leaders to ensure safety standards are followed.
• Coordinate field technicians with supervisors, parts support, and service teams to ensure timely repairs.
