Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Field Service Manager – GPHE to lead a team of service engineers, balancing customer needs, business goals and team development. This hybrid role is based in Houston, TX with potential travel to remote areas, and requires a blend of technical and commercial stewardship to drive service growth.

You will collaborate with Sales to craft service offerings, manage contracts, and monitor performance while mentoring technicians to become trusted advisors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field technical or technical/commercial sales experience.
• Deep knowledge and experience with GPHE or Alfa Laval branded products.
• Experience in sales collaboration and data analysis to support business decisions and identify service opportunities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
• Willingness and availability to travel 50% or more, including to remote areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Field Service Engineers (FSEs) with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Secure a strong QHSE culture within the team.
• Develop, motivate, and mentor technicians into trusted advisors.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop service offerings and drive lead generation during service.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through effective communication, ensuring contract compliance and claims management.
• Supervise project financial performance, monitoring gross profit and revenue, and identifying risks and opportunities.
