Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Field Service Manager – GPHE to lead a team of field service engineers, driving operational excellence and expanding service offerings in collaboration with Sales. This hybrid role is based in Houston, with potential travel to Greenwood, IN or Richmond, VA, and requires strong leadership, QHSE focus and customer‑centric delivery.

You will mentor technicians into trusted advisors, manage contracts and gross profit, and partner across functions to identify service

Qualifications

• Post-high school technical education or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of field technical or technical/commercial sales experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more, including to remote areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Field Service Engineers (FSEs) with a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Secure a strong QHSE culture within the team.
• Develop, motivate and mentor technicians into trusted advisors.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop service offerings and drive lead generation during service.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, ensure contract compliance and claims management.
• Supervise project financial performance including gross profit and revenue.
