Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead a team delivering generator maintenance and emergency response services. You will ensure assets are well-maintained, ready for emergency activation, and performing at peak levels while managing customer relationships and safety standards.

You will mentor technicians, optimize scheduling, and drive service performance to meet budget and KPI targets, with hands-on troubleshooting and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in field service with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with generator systems maintenance and repair.
• Technical degree or relevant certification preferred but not required.
• Proficient with scheduling software and service platforms; strong Excel/Word skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Certifications in safety or field service management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, manage, and mentor technicians, ensuring training and performance.
• Oversee safe operation, maintenance, and security of vehicles and equipment.
• Schedule and manage maintenance and repairs for timely completion and satisfaction.
• Provide troubleshooting on-site and remotely.
• Build strong client relationships with exceptional service and documentation.
• Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Track service metrics and address underperformance.
