Job summary

Cozzini, LLC in Elk Grove Village, IL, seeks an experienced Field Service Manager to lead our technical service team and ensure excellence in on-site support for food processing equipment and related services.

You will oversee scheduling, technician development, troubleshooting, safety, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales. The role requires customer-focused leadership and proactive problem-solving to maximize equipment uptime and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field service management experience in industrial manufacturing or food processing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude across industrial equipment and basic electrical systems.
• Experience leading installations, startups, training, preventive maintenance, and customer support.
• Proven ability to build relationships, troubleshoot issues, and use service software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U.S. passport.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% to support sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Field Service Technicians and technical support personnel.
• Establish performance expectations, training programs, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-focused service.
• Support equipment installations, start-ups, troubleshooting efforts, and customer visits as needed.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and problem-solving.
• Work proactively with customers to improve equipment reliability, performance, and overall satisfaction.
• Manage field service scheduling, technician assignments, and resource allocation.
• Ensure timely response to and resolution of customer service requests.
• Monitor service KPIs and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, team performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee service documentation, reporting, and compliance with company standards.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to improve the customer experience.
• Ensure all service activities are conducted in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Promote safe work practices for employees and customers.
