Job summary

HRforGrowth is seeking a Technical Service Manager in Wheeling, IL to coordinate service activities, troubleshoot equipment, and support field service teams in a fast-paced food production environment.

The role requires hands-on technical experience, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, Outlook, and CRM/ERP systems. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are involved.

Qualifications

Trade school education or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
Hands-on experience with electrical appliances, equipment, or related technical systems.
Minimum 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or service coordination experience.
Strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues with end users and service technicians.
Experience in a customer-facing or service-oriented environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, Outlook, and CRM/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and track service activities to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
Serve as primary point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries, scheduling, and updates.
Troubleshoot equipment and service issues with end users and technicians.
Collaborate with service managers, technicians, sales teams, and other departments to support operations.
Track service activity and documentation in internal systems.
