Cozzini, LLC, headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, seeks a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and optimize food processing equipment at customer facilities across North America.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose PLC-driven systems, and provide on-site and remote support while collaborating with engineering teams. This role requires travel, safety compliance, and strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in field service or related manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery.
• Ability to interpret schematics, electrical drawings, technical documents, and service manuals.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work remotely.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, commission, and start up processing equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform functional testing to confirm systems operate as designed before handoff.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-related issues.
• Diagnose PLC-driven equipment and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve complex problems.
• Provide remote technical support via phone, email, and video.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on safe operation and troubleshooting techniques.
• Complete detailed service reports, inspection records, installation documentation, and maintenance logs.
• Manage company-issued tools, diagnostic equipment, and spare parts inventory.
