Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in field service or related manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery.
• Ability to interpret schematics, electrical drawings, technical documents, and service manuals.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work remotely.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Field Service Technician to support our growing customer base across North America. In this role, you will install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize food processing systems while serving as a trusted technical partner for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Investigate recurring operational issues, determine root causes, and implement long-term solutions.

• Deliver technical support remotely via phone, email, and virtual communication platforms.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on safe operation, troubleshooting techniques, and best maintenance practices.
• Foster strong customer partnerships through responsive, professional service.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource to help customers maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
• Complete detailed service reports, inspection records, installation documentation, and maintenance logs.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote, travel-based role.
• Willingness to travel extensively and provide occasional after-hours support when needed.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
