Job summary

Top Tempo Technical is seeking an E-Bus Field Service Technician to support customers in the New York area. This role requires strong electrical skills and excellent customer service as you service transit bus systems at varied sites.

You will travel to customer sites, diagnose issues on high voltage electrical systems, and determine fixes across Acceptance, Retrofit, or Warranty classifications. Overtime may be required. Monday–Friday schedule in the New York area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with high voltage electrical systems.
• General knowledge of bus, aviation, automotive and/or vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical field service; troubleshooting experience.

E-Bus Field Service Technician

Looking for a motivated E-Bus Field Service Technician in the New York Area! Be a part of the advancing innovation and sustainable transit solutions in the dynamic transportation industry. This position is a Field Service Technician for a transit bus manufacturer that requires strong electrical skills as well as excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with the customer.

Job Details:

• Requires travel to various customer work sites in the New York area.
• Ideal experience is to have worked on any of the following: buses, trains, autos, trucks, military vehicles, aircraft, agricultural or industrial equipment.
• Must be able to interpret and make decisions on what problems need to be fixed.
• There are three classifications of work: Acceptance, Retrofit and/or Warranty.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with High Voltage electrical systems
• General knowledge of bus, aviation, automotive and/or vehicle systems.
• Hands-on experience in either electrical, mechanical, or other related field service experience; experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Job Location: New York, New York and surrounding vicinities

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.*with possible overtime

Pay Rate:$35.00 an hour and up - Pay is commensurate with skills & experience
