Job summary

Rockwell Automation in the United States offers a Field Service Intern role within Lifecycle Services. You will travel to customer sites with a Field Service Engineer to understand on-site support interactions and assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues.

The role requires active enrollment in a four-year or advanced engineering degree program, legal work status in the U.S., and willingness to travel. Current locations include Dallas, Davenport, and Tampa.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in a four-year or advanced engineering degree program at an accredited university.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willing to relocate and travel, with location-based base and frequent travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites with a Field Service Engineer to understand on-site support interactions with Rockwell Automation Customers.
• Support our customers and field personnel with troubleshooting and resolving customer issues in person.
• Experience the responsibilities of a Field Support Engineer in Motions & Controls to learn how they approach troubleshooting in their area of work.
• Manage customer interactions by setting expectations, capturing the issue, resolution and steps taken to troubleshoot, and following up with customers in a timely manner.
