Job summary

MSW Machinery Solutions is seeking a Field Service / Installation Engineer to install and commission industrial machinery across the region and country. This hands-on role requires solving problems in the field, reading schematics, and coordinating with electricians and millwrights.

The position emphasizes travel, problem solving, and delivering projects from installation through startup, with a strong focus on customer service and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

We are a fast-growing industrial service company looking for a Field Service / Installation Engineer to join our team.

This is not a desk job. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and seeing a project through from installation to startup. Our field engineers work on industrial machinery and equipment at customer facilities throughout the region and across the country.

What You'll Do:

• Install and commission industrial machinery.
• Perform mechanical and electrical installation and troubleshooting.
• Assist with machine rigging, equipment moves, and positioning.
• Perform millwright and industrial maintenance work.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical components, wiring, sensors, motors, and controls.
• Read and work from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and layouts.
• Troubleshoot equipment and help identify and resolve problems in the field.
• Work alongside electricians, millwrights, controls engineers, and other technicians.
• Communicate professionally with customers and represent our company on job sites.
• Travel to customer facilities for installations, service calls, and projects.
