Job summary

Kodak Alaris in New Jersey is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites. The role requires frequent travel to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose issues to ensure optimal system performance.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, supporting PLC-controlled automation, conducting inspections, and training customers on operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial equipment repair.
• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or vocational training preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including AC/DC circuits, motors and drives, sensors and controls, and electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and power transmission systems; hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 50-75% as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Technology.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
• Industrial automation experience.
• OSHA training or other safety certifications.
• Knowledge of CNC, packaging, material handling, or manufacturing equipment.

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour, contingent on level of experience
