Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites across the Northeast and the U.S. to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair Fischer XRF and materials testing equipment.

The role includes diagnosing electronic and mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and verifying instrument performance. You will train customers on proper operation and provide technical support both onsite and remotely, while working independently in customer

Qualifications

• Technical Associates or Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong customer-facing communication skills with initiative, professionalism and confidence to build relationships, solve problems independently, and represent the company at customer sites.
