Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Engineering Support professional for the Water Tech group in North America. The role involves frequent travel (70-80%), engaging in design reviews, commissioning, and operations to optimize water treatment facilities.

You will coordinate between design engineers, contractors, and customers to ensure safety, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate has a engineering degree, 5+ years in water treatment, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma with 5+ years in water treatment.
• Willingness to travel 70-80% (approx. 250 days/year) across North America and beyond.
• Expert knowledge of water treatment systems (RO, ion exchange, thermal).
• Strong water chemistry knowledge with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews and ensure equipment operability and safety.
• Perform control system FAT tests with clients and designated representatives.
• Lead construction liaison between design and field teams during plant erection.
• Develop commissioning schedules and ensure plant performance per specs.
• Create SOPs and deliver technical reports for customers.
