Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced engineer to support engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations of Water Treatment Plants. The role requires extensive travel (70-80%) and coordination with design, construction, and client teams across North America and beyond.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering degree with 5+ years in water treatment, and possesses deep knowledge of RO, ion exchange, and thermal systems, plus strong analytical and communication skills for technical reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in water treatment.
• Willingness to travel extensively (70-80% ~250 days/year) across North America and internationally.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment systems including RO, ion exchange, and thermal processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering reviews and design meetings to ensure accessibility, maintainability, and operability of process equipment.
• Perform factory acceptance tests of control systems with clients.
• Act as liaison between design and construction teams during water treatment plant projects.
• Develop commissioning schedules and ensure systems perform per specifications.
