Veolia Water Technology seeks a Field Service Engineer to manage commissioning, installation, and optimization of water treatment plants. You will liaise with design engineering, construction teams, control systems, and customers to ensure performance and reliability.

This role demands independence, strong problem solving, and exceptional communication. Expect 70–80% travel across North America and international sites, with safety and technical excellence at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of water treatment systems incl. RO, ion exchange, and thermal.
• Ability to troubleshoot, perform startup, commissioning, and optimization.
• Willingness to travel 70-80% annually across North America and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews and safety in design to ensure operability.
• Perform PLC/HMI activities including IO checkout and troubleshooting.
• Develop commissioning schedules and execute water treatment plant start-ups.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer personnel on site.
• Maintain safety standards and document technical reports for customers.
