Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field service activities at customer sites across Texas. You will troubleshoot systems, perform preventative maintenance, and manage parts inventory while ensuring safety and quality at each site.

The role requires valid driving record, ability to obtain customer clearances, and strong customer service skills. Expect 20%–80% travel with potential overnight stays.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
• Clean driving record required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Execute field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently.
• Perform system troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical and diesel equipment.
• Maintain inventory of parts and report issues.
• Collaborate with customers and teams across multiple sites and technologies.
• Travel 20%–80% with overnight stays as required by division.
