Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service and maintenance across customer facilities, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, diesel, and other equipment, managing parts inventory, and collaborating with customers and internal teams. Travel to multiple sites is expected, with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years technical experience; 1 year preferred.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical, diesel, HVAC, or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain clearances (TWIC, DISA).
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe working environment at customer sites.
• Perform field service, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair activities on equipment and systems.
• Identify and address safety concerns involving company- and customer-owned equipment.
• Maintain appropriate parts inventory and protect company property.
• Demonstrate a high-impact culture through innovation, accountability, and empowerment.
• Communicate technical information clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Apply critical thinking to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
