Job summary

Vertiv in Hartford, CT is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, power distribution units and battery systems. You will build rapport with customers, provide on-site and remote support, and work with technical teams to solve issues.

The ideal candidate has a high school or vocational diploma, 2–4 years of technical experience, and the ability to work independently after training.

Qualifications

• Mandatory high school or vocational diploma.
• Experience in a technical field preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision or independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks on UPS, power distribution units and battery systems.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Coordinate with Technical Support on issues and guidelines.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain service reports and inventory.
