Job summary

Vertiv in the United States seeks a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, Power Distribution Units, and battery systems. You will establish strong rapport with customers, co-workers, and sales representatives while maintaining safety standards.

The role supports on-site service at customer locations, requiring ability to work under supervision or independently after training, and to document service activities and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or technical maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, PDU and battery systems.
• Work under supervision or independently after training completion.
• Provide on-site and phone support to customers and coordinate with Technical Support.
• Implement field change notices per guidelines.
• Maintain safety standards and vehicle/gear compliance.
• Complete service reports, time cards, and inventory records.
