Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a CUSTOMER ENGINEER - FIELD SERVICES to install, commission, and service UPS, PDUs, and battery systems (2-120KVA). You will provide on-site and phone support, aiming for first-time fix resolutions and safe, compliant operations. Travel is required across diverse customer sites in Texas and beyond.

You will work withTechnical Support and internal teams to implement changes, document service activities, and uphold safety guidelines while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET certification or progress toward
• 4+ years military experience in a technical field
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service UPS, PDUs, and Battery systems (2-120KVA)
• Provide on-site and phone support to customers with first-time fix emphasis
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues
• Implement Field Change Notices and stay current on Safety Bulletins
• Complete timecards, expense reports, and service documentation accurately
• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts per policy
• Meet or exceed on-site response time requirements
