Job summary

AMETEK Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers in the USA. You will install, calibrate, and maintain Taylor Hobson equipment at client sites, provide training, and perform service repairs with remote troubleshooting.

Quoting services to customers will also be part of the role. Ideal candidates have an engineering background, strong computer and English communication skills, and are prepared to travel within North America and internationally for training.

Qualifications

• Background in electronic or multidisciplinary engineering; 3+ years in field service or related electronics & software.
• Must hold a valid US Passport or Green Card.
• Willingness to travel within North America and internationally for training.

Responsibilities

• Installations and training at customer sites.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment at customer premises.
• Perform service repairs and remote diagnostics.
• Provide after-sales service support and quotes to customers.
