Job summary

Omega Medical Imaging LLC seeks a Field Service Engineer Trainee to support our interventional imaging platforms. The role starts with 4–12 months of training at our Sanford, FL headquarters, after which it becomes a hybrid position in the field and at the corporate site.

The program aims to build product expertise and service excellence across legacy and future systems. The ideal candidate has electronics familiarity, a foundation in medical imaging service, and the readiness to travel, lift,

Qualifications

Basic understanding of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting multi-technology systems.
Experience with electronics, mechanical systems, or military electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Travel anywhere Omega has a system and respond to customers on short notice.
Demonstrate understanding of x-ray technology and mechanical components in medical devices.
Read and translate schematics and use calibrated testing equipment.
Maintain professional communication with internal and external customers.
Contribute feedback to Design and Engineering for product improvements.
