Job summary

Omega Medical Imaging LLC seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to lead installations and provide expert diagnostics for X-ray and imaging systems at healthcare sites, with substantial travel and hands-on field work.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, clear customer communication, and the ability to train customers while maintaining documentation and service excellence. Remote-based Atlanta location supported by travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field service experience with X-ray or high-level electromechanical systems.
• Direct experience with imaging systems and installations.
• Associate degree or military technical training or equivalent.
• Expertise in reading and translating schematics.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license and passport or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to travel and work variable hours.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair Omega systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and minimize return visits.
• Read, interpret, and translate schematics with precision.
• Stay current on product enhancements via training.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Support on improvements.
• Maintain service reports and calibration of tools.
• Provide clear customer communications and guidance.
• Respond to after-hours service requests as needed.
