Job summary

Tri-Imaging Solutions in Oklahoma City is seeking an entry-level Field Service Engineer I to support on-site medical imaging equipment. You will assist with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs under supervision, building foundational service skills in imaging modalities.

Responsibilities include following service manuals, documenting work per ISO standards, and coordinating with radiologists and technicians. Travel up to 75% and on-call rotations after training are expected.

Qualifications

  • AS/AA in Electronics, Electromechanical Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical Technology, or equivalent military training preferred.
  • 0–2 years field service or technical experience; entry-level welcomed.
  • Foundational electronics/electrical/computer hardware knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
  • Clear written/verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Job description

The Field Service Engineer I is an entry-level role for someone starting their career in on-site medical imaging service. Working under close supervision, this position assists with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of high-end medical imaging systems while building foundational field service skills. The focus is on learning the industry and applying documented processes and safety standards, with issues outside scope escalated to senior engineers or the Service Manager.

Travel & Schedule
  • Up to 75% travel required
  • On-call rotation after training
Physical & Environmental
  • Frequent standing, walking, occasional lifting (25-50 lbs)
  • Use of hand/power tools, ESD protection, and PPE as needed
  • Potential exposure to radiation, electrical hazards, and bloodborne pathogens; OSHA and safety compliance required
