Job summary

Advantest in Richardson, TX is seeking a Production Service Engineer to deliver post-sales service for Advantest’s automated test equipment. You will support local and international customers, drive yield improvements, troubleshoot test programs, and oversee installation or relocation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Proven account management with focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in C++ and Java; experience with Advantest V93000 a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused approach.
• Self-motivated, results-driven with strong problem-solving.
• Experience with OEE and productivity improvements; data-driven methods.
• Willing to travel to customer sites on short notice (up to 35%).

Responsibilities

• Deliver post-sales service support for Advantest’s products, including troubleshooting production test programs and upgrades.
• Provide engineering and technical assistance, debugging test programs and hardware to maintain peak performance.
• Recommend enhancements to improve production yield and equipment utilization.
• Support license management for local and global customers.
• Work with Service Sales to identify opportunities for in-house solutions.
• Ensure service contract deliverables meet required standards.
• Provide technical feedback to the factory for improvements and new design development.
• Offer consultancy services to boost equipment efficiency and performance.
• Assist or lead projects and integrate equipment into customer factory automation systems.
• Operate within policies; deliver hardware support for Handler and ATE systems.
• Respond to hardware technical support needs for assigned accounts.
• Travel to customer sites up to approximately 35%.
